Academy Improvement 2024-25

Reffley Academy Development Plan 2024-25

As part of our commitment to ensure that we deliver a high quality education and experiences for our pupils, leaders are constantly reviewing what is working effectively and what could be improved.

To highlight the current areas of focus, we have an improvement and development plan. The plan is made up of targets and actions and is used as a tool to help leaders to maintain high standards, a good quality curriculum and effective policies and procedures.

The key aims of the School Development Plan 2024–2025 are:

Quality of Education:

Main priority 1

To ensure all children achieve the level they are capable of.

To continue to raise attainment across the school – particular focus on GD (greater depth) reading to improve combined GD (greater depth) scores

Behaviour and Attitudes:

Main priority 2

To set up SRB (specialist resource base) provision in school.

Leadership and Management:

Main priority 3

To develop leadership structure to ensure leaders at all levels have a clear ambitious vision for quality education for all pupils.

Effectiveness of the Early Years:

Main Priority 4:

To secure good provision in EYFS with the changes in staffing.

Personal Development:

Main Priority 5

To ensure the wider curriculum enhances our planned curriculum.

Leaders in our academy use the targets and actions set out in our improvement and development plan as a focus for what activities take place at the academy. The plan is reviewed half termly (and sooner when needed).
